2025年より「リゾートに旅する大人」をターゲットとした
地産地消のレザーをベースとするラグジュアリーブランド
Bin.が誕生しました。
In 2024, a new product development project utilizing domestic leather and traditional crafts was launched by volunteers from the Ryukyu Bingata Business Cooperative. In 2025, the luxury brand “Bin.”, targeting “adults traveling to resorts,” and based on locally produced leather, was born.
琉球びんがたとは
早くは13世紀から起源を持つと言われる「琉球びんがた」。
紅型とは、豊かな自然風土の中で生まれ
独自の染技で育まれてきた沖縄の染物の総称。
紅型は長い歴史の中で、古くは王族や士族に珍重され
今なお、その美しさ・華やかさで人々を魅了し続けています。
“Ryukyu Bingata,” said to have origins as early as the 13th century. Bingata is a general term for Okinawan dyed fabrics, born out of the rich natural climate and nurtured by unique dyeing techniques. Throughout its long history, Bingata has captivated people with its distinct beauty and splendor, from the nobility and warrior class in ancient times to the present day.
The Processing of Ryukyu Bingata

のべ10名以上の熟練の職人によって加工が施されています。
The work of BINGATA LEATHER craftsmen encompasses more than 18 processes, from design to the final washing.
One of the distinctive features is the continuous patterning using a single stencil. The coloring technique,
which combines pigments and natural dyes, is also exceptionally rare.
The BINGATA LEATHER project involves the craftsmanship of over 10 experienced artisans.

Bin.が素材として用いるのは
これまで焼却処分等で廃棄されてきた沖縄県産牛皮。
国内でも有数の皮革加工事業者が集う姫路にてなめし加工を行い
琉球びんがた独自の染色加工を施すことで唯一無二の素材を生み出しました。
廃棄物を資源として活用する、サスティナブルな事業です。
The material used by “Bin.” consists of Okinawan Wagyu beef, which has traditionally been disposed of through incineration. Tanning is performed in Himeji, a place renowned for its leather processing industry, and unique dyeing processes of Ryukyu Bingata are applied to create a one-of-a-kind material. This is a sustainable initiative that transforms waste into valuable resources.

ミスの許されない裁断・縫製・最終仕上げまで
神経を集中させながら通常商品の倍以上時間をかけ
職人が一つのアイテムを一貫して仕上げていきます。
We meticulously select materials for interior and core components and adjust the thickness, using leather to its fullest extent. From cutting, where no mistakes are permitted, through sewing and final finishing, our craftsmen dedicate more than twice the usual time to create a single item with unwavering concentration.
